Unpaid Refund

• For FFEL Loan borrowers only who are entitled to, but have not received a refund of loan funds from their respective schools. The borrower (or parent of the student benefitting from a PLUS loan) must not currently be attending the school.
• Available to borrowers who received a loan under the FFEL Program on or after January 1, 1986.
• Amount discharged will be up to the amount that the school was required to refund.
• There is no deadline to apply for these discharges.
