Attention Borrowers: With the passing of the Health Care and Education Affordability Reconciliation Act of 2010, the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) will be eliminated as of July 1, 2010. All federal loans will be administered by the Department of Education through the Direct Loan Program. Effective June 22, online applications will no longer be available from New Hampshire Higher Education Loan Corporation (NHHELCO). We will however still be able to process paper MPNs but please note that our processing deadline for all new loans for the 2009/2010 academic year is June 28, 2010 at 5 PM EST. Please contact Loan Originations at 800.719.0708 x6700 M-F 8 AM 5 PM EST to discuss your options for applying with NHHELCO at this time.
