Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to let GSM&R know if there are changes in my checking/savings account information?

A: Any changes in your checking/savings account information requires you to complete a new EasyPaySM Agreement form. You can access the form online at www.nhheaf.org. A new form is NOT required for a change in the payment amount (payment amount changes will be automatic for new loans, changes to repayment schedules or loans paid in full); this amount will be adjusted automatically. Please allow up to 10 business days from the date we receive your completed application to process the change.

Q: What happens if I do not have enough funds in my bank account to make my monthly payment?

A: If your account becomes past due resulting from non-sufficient funds (NSF), you need to make a payment to bring your account current. You will be responsible for any charges assessed by your bank or GSM&R.

Q: Can I authorize automatic withdrawal for some of my loans and send a check in for my other loans?

A: No, your automatic withdrawal will be set up to make your payments on ALL of your loans with GSM&R on your actual monthly due date noted on your statement.
