Colleges across New England Visit New Hampshire as Students Plan for College
Concord, NH - Registration is now open for the NHHEAF Network Organizations' College Summer Series! The annual summer workshop program for college-bound high school students and parents provides a venue for New Hampshire residents to meet admission professionals from different colleges and universities throughout New England and beyond. During the Summer Series program days which begin on July 6, admission representatives will visit the Organizations' conference center to deliver presentations and answer questions about campus life, housing, financial aid, admission requirements and more. According to coordinator College Outreach Specialist Jay Hauser, “The Summer Series is a great no-pressure, no-cost way to begin the admissions process in your own backyard before trekking to colleges in the fall. Also, it is a way to connect with the folks from admissions prior to actually visiting campus.”
Colleges and universities participating in the Summer Series include:
| Bowdoin College | Saint Anselm College |
| Brandeis University | St. Michaels College |
| Bryant College | Salve Regina |
| Champlain College | Southern NH University |
| Colby-Sawyer College | Suffolk University |
| College of the Holy Cross | Tufts University |
| Curry College | University of Maine |
| Franklin Pierce College | University of Massachusetts- Amherst |
| Massachusetts College of Pharmacy | University of Massachusetts- Lowell |
| Merrimack College | University of New Hampshire |
| Nichols College | University of New England |
| Plymouth State University | University of Southern Maine |
| Quinnipiac University | Whitman College |
| Rivier College | Polytechnic Institute |
“As a spokesperson from Quinnipiac, I think this is a great opportunity for New Hampshire students to meet representatives of the schools they are interested in and see who would be reading their applications. Students can ask important questions and learn essential information as they make decisions about their future,” stated Paul Krsiak, Assistant Director of Admissions at Quinnipiac University. All sessions are held at the NHHEAF Network Organizations' campus in Concord, NH. While pre-registration is required, there is no charge for this program and individuals can register for multiple sessions. Register or learn more at www.nhheaf.org/summerseries.asp.
